​IFED is an international organization with the mission to stimulate new initiatives in decision making and risk analysis for engineering systems.
It organizes on a regular basis open forums that focus on specific themes.

Decision-Making for Extremes

​Decision making (DM) in many fields continually faces new challenges and adapts itself as needed. Recently, several new and interesting issues have come to the foreground, with consensus lacking about their impact on DM theory and practice. Some issues are difficult to describe using traditional approaches, while others are strongly interconnected.

This forum focuses on present-day challenges in decision making, risk analysis, and applications in engineering and other fields of application.
